It begins by looking at how large-scale market research is conducted in the automobile industry by J.D Power and the television programme Top Gear. It then goes on to examine some of the procedures involved in the UK launch of a new car by the international company Peugeot. It covers planning meetings, production processes, staff training and presentation to the customer.
