Self-evaluation in Higher Educ: a pack of materials for groups undertaking self-evaluation - QSC11Self-evaluation – sometimes called self-study, self-assessment, departmental review – is becoming a feature of academic life in higher education institutions in many countries. CHERI has produced a set of materials to help staff prepare self-evaluations.
The materials are designed to help staff get the most out of self-evaluation and cover the following topics: defining the purposes and scope of self-evaluation; planning, assembling the information and evidence, making judgements, reporting and acting on outcomes.
The materials comprise an introduction, a guide, a briefing, supplementary materials and a computer disk.
