Video The Money Programme: Microsoft's Big Games Gamble and Coke on the Rocks? - XB005/DVD02
Two episodes from the popular BBC2 series.

Microsoft's Big Games Gamble
We follow the launch of the new Xbox 360 as Microsoft attempts to take on Sony's new Play Station for control of the lucrative computer games market, and in so doing tries to become the gateway to the entire world of in-home entertainment. Bill Gates has spent three and a half billion dollars already trying to win the gaming wars. Will his latest gamble succeed?

Coke on the Rocks?
Coke is a brand in trouble. They've been accused of causing obesity with their sugary drinks, and now some schools are refusing to stock Coke. In America even the Terminator, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, has come out against Coke in schools. They're also under fire for symbolising the worst of American cultural imperialism, and now their share price has taken a hit. We follow their attempts to fight back as they branch out with healthy fruit juice, and try to claw back territory from their bitter rivals Pepsi. Is Coke a brand whose time is over?
