Medical Science
Medical Science covers a range of subjects, from the history of medical science to complementary and alternative therapies. Specific areas include the diagnosis, treatment and impact on lifestyle of diabetes, and the causes and controls of infectious diseases, how diseases evolve and how we can predict epidemics. A broader approach is our understanding of medical science is also explored, looking at what makes some groups and individuals in society more prone to illness, global health and disease patterns, and how ageing affects our health.
