Tutoring adult learners involves a range of skills and can involve key issues such as tutoring at a distance and using developments in communications technology to best support students. Self study packs cover a range of topics including effective tutorials, measuring your progress and success, effective group work, supporting open learners and using the telephone to enhance the learning experience. Study packs are also available for tutors supporting students with dyslexia, disabilities or mental health difficulties.
